  • And lots more!

In-house laboratory suite for diagnostic work – We can investigate many conditions at our North Road surgery and also send samples to outside labs for specialist analysis or refer pets to specialists when necessary.

We have a range of blood testing machines for routine and emergency haematology and biochemistry; as well as critical care blood gas analysis, coagulation and blood typing.

We routinely test urine and other fluids in house to treat and monitor conditions like kidney disease, diabetes etc.

We have a purpose built imaging suite with digital x-ray and ultrasound machines.

Surgery and anaesthetics – we perform routine operations Monday to Friday and use modern drugs tailored to each patient to make each procedure as safe as possible.

We also have extensive anaesthetic monitoring equipment enabling continuous pulse oximetry, capnography, electrocardiography and temperature monitoring and most importantly a dedicated nurse to monitor your pet before during and after the procedure.

Out of hours we offer a 24/7 onsite service to our patients run at our Parkstone surgery, provided by the dedicated Emergency VetCare team www.emergencyvetcare.co.uk. This way your pets get the best care day and night, without having to be transferred between surgeries.

If it is difficult to come to the surgery we can arrange a home visit, usually within a few hours of your call. However, it must be appreciated that as we will be restricted in the equipment available, and in the treatment that can be undertaken, house visits are not always in the best interests of your pet’s welfare and we may request you bring them to the surgery instead.

Our vets are trained and qualified to issue pet passports and export health certificates. Is it a weekend away or a life changing relocation we can help your pet enjoy it with you!
